Girls Trip to California

Ok so I know you are all dying to see some pictures of my trip to California for spring break. And I finally got them on my computer! So here ya go. We left early Thursday morning and drove down to Las Angeles. I was surprised at how fast the car ride went. Of course us girls chatted, snacked, and played some flash back songs thanks to Tina's Ipod! That night we stayed at the Ho Jo's (thats the Howard Johnson for all ya all) That was quite the experience! :)

Friday we spent the day at Disneyland. Everything looked so different, since it had been about 10 years since I last went. We had tons of fun (once we figured out the fast passes!) And we didn't even have to wait in long lines! The longest line was splash mountain and as you can see we got soaked. Or I should say, Kate got soaked! Thanks for switching seats with me Kate! LOL

Saturday we headed down to San Diego, where we got to attend a session at the temple! We were all so excited because it is so gorgeous! (Yes we are the little people down their at the bottom!)

Afterwards we went down to La Jolla where we got to see the seals and their new pups! They were so cute! And I couldn't believe how many seals were right there on the beach and in the water! One guy kept sticking his tongue out at us! But as soon as we wanted to take a picture he would stick it back in! What a joker! After that we did what every Cali girl loves to do...we got ice cream and pedicures!

That night we went up to Tamecula and stayed the night with Kate's brother and sister-in-law. They were such a cute couple. And when we got up to our room we had cute little towel animals on our beds! And the Easter bunny even left us some Easter baskets filled with treats!

We left on Sunday and the drive home definitely seemed like it took ten times longer than the trip down on Thursday. But overall the trip was definitely a nice break and tons of fun!

Aw, now I want to go to Disneyland! I'm so jealous you rode Splash Mountain. That's absolutely my favorite, and I might clap and sing along to Zip-A-Dee-Do-Da every time. Maybe.

What a fun trip.
