Spring Cleaning Gone Too Far???

So I think I took spring cleaning a little too far. It all started with the fact that I have way too much stuff to fit it all in my room. So I thought I would just get rid of some things and then get a bookcase or something to help me organize all my crap. So I headed off to IKEA. One of my absolute favorite stores.
And from there I might have gone a little crazy. Case after I got my new stuff, I got the brilliant idea to change rooms (one of my roommates moved out so there was an extra room). Now let me just say, I am not one of those people who hate change. I on the other hand am quite different. I love change! I am constantly moving around my classroom, changing my hair cut and color, and yes my room is always changing!

My mom and sisters could probably attest to this. I was always moving things around when I was little. Sometimes I would get the urge to just move my bed around, and the next thing you know, it was done! Well thats kind of what happened last weekend. But I think it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. :) I am still missing my curtains and the mirror over my bed. But lets just say I got rid of some things, cleaned up my clutter, and am pretty well organized now! You can't tell but we painted the room a pale yellow which actually looks really good with all my red stuff. And the best thing about this change, I have so much more closet space! Thank goodness!

Girls Trip to California

Ok so I know you are all dying to see some pictures of my trip to California for spring break. And I finally got them on my computer! So here ya go. We left early Thursday morning and drove down to Las Angeles. I was surprised at how fast the car ride went. Of course us girls chatted, snacked, and played some flash back songs thanks to Tina's Ipod! That night we stayed at the Ho Jo's (thats the Howard Johnson for all ya all) That was quite the experience! :)

Friday we spent the day at Disneyland. Everything looked so different, since it had been about 10 years since I last went. We had tons of fun (once we figured out the fast passes!) And we didn't even have to wait in long lines! The longest line was splash mountain and as you can see we got soaked. Or I should say, Kate got soaked! Thanks for switching seats with me Kate! LOL

Saturday we headed down to San Diego, where we got to attend a session at the temple! We were all so excited because it is so gorgeous! (Yes we are the little people down their at the bottom!)

Afterwards we went down to La Jolla where we got to see the seals and their new pups! They were so cute! And I couldn't believe how many seals were right there on the beach and in the water! One guy kept sticking his tongue out at us! But as soon as we wanted to take a picture he would stick it back in! What a joker! After that we did what every Cali girl loves to do...we got ice cream and pedicures!

That night we went up to Tamecula and stayed the night with Kate's brother and sister-in-law. They were such a cute couple. And when we got up to our room we had cute little towel animals on our beds! And the Easter bunny even left us some Easter baskets filled with treats!

We left on Sunday and the drive home definitely seemed like it took ten times longer than the trip down on Thursday. But overall the trip was definitely a nice break and tons of fun!
